About John Cobb

Baseballs

John Cobb of Medford, NJ left us too soon at the young age of 49.

For those of you who knew John, you understand the importance family, community, and baseball had in his life.  He was a selfless man who always wanted to do so much to help others, and he touched so many people’s lives.

John’s passion was supporting the Medford Baseball Program, and John was the leader of all things baseball in Medford.  John was an active participant and  lead organizer of the “Buddy Ball” program.  “Buddy Ball” is a local program that gives special needs children from all across South Jersey the opportunity to play baseball along side a local high school baseball player.

John was also a key contributor to the Medford Killer “B” Baseball Tournament, which has helped raise money for the Medford baseball program for years.  John’s hard work and dedication made it possible for every baseball player in Medford to enjoy years of fun and enjoyment on the baseball diamond.

Our goal is to thank and remember John every time kids play baseball, whether it’s a Medford team playing a home game, a visiting team playing in the John Cobb Memorial Tournament or a special needs child playing “Buddy Ball”.
